Grilled Flank Steak

Instructions
- Tenderize the flank steak by pounding it to an even thickness.
- Sprinkle both sides of the steak with salt and pepper and massage into the meat.
- Whisk together soy sauce and honey, then pour the marinade over the steak.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, flipping halfway through.
- Preheat the grill to 450ºF – 500ºF.
- Remove steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Sear the steak over direct heat for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Move the steak to indirect heat and cook for about 10 minutes, checking the internal temperature.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the steak against the grain into strips.
