Air Fryer Potato Wedges

Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 3 small russet potatoes

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Scrub the potatoes and cut them into wedges.
  2. Rinse the potato wedges in cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  3. Soak the rinsed potatoes in very hot water for 10 minutes.
  4. Pat the potatoes dry and toss them with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and chili powder.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  6. Air fry the potato wedges at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  7. Toss the wedges and continue air frying at 350°F for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Increase the air fryer temperature to 400°F and cook for about 15 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes until crispy.
  9. Transfer the crispy potato wedges to a serving plate and sprinkle with additional salt before serving.
