Bacon Cheddar Chicken Burgers with Guacamole

Ingredients

The guacamole

  • 2 avocados pitted and peeled
  • cup white onion minced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • teaspoon chipotle powder
  • a few shakes of garlic salt
  • kosher salt

The burgers

  • 4 Gold 'n Plump Bacon & Cheddar Chicken Patties frozen
  • 4 pretzel buns
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 8 leafs lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the avocados and mix in onion, lime juice, chipotle powder, garlic salt, and kosher salt. Cover and set aside.
  3. Oil the grill and cook the chicken patties according to package directions for about 9-11 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Butter the cut sides of the pretzel buns and toast them on the grill until golden.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and BBQ sauce in a small bowl.
  6. Assemble the burgers by layering the buns with lettuce, chicken patties, guacamole, and tomato. Top with BBQ mayo sauce and serve.
