Ingredients

The base

  • 1 bottle dry red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon)
  • ¼ cup Grand Marnier
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar

The fruit

  • 1 orange halved and then sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 pear sliced
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds

The spices

  • 2 sticks cinnamon

The fizz

  • ¾ cup ginger ale

Instructions

  1. Combine agave nectar, Grand Marnier, brandy, orange, lime, pear, pomegranate seeds, and cinnamon sticks in a large pitcher.
  2. Stir to combine the ingredients.
  3. Pour in the entire bottle of red wine and stir again.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  5. Just before serving, add ginger ale to the mixture and stir gently.
  6. Serve over ice or chilled, garnished with fresh limes and oranges.
