Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 1 ½ lbs. Petite Gold Potatoes
  • Salt to taste

The flavorings

  • 3-4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ tsp. Seasoned Salt
  • ¼ tsp. freshly cracked Black Pepper
  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 tbsp. Sour Cream
  • finely chopped Chives (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into quarters.
  2. Boil the quartered potatoes in salted water until fork tender, about 12-15 minutes, then drain.
  3. Transfer the potatoes back to the pot and add minced garlic, then mash together.
  4. Mash in the butter and heavy cream until combined.
  5. Stir in seasoned salt, black pepper, parmesan, and sour cream, adjusting cream for desired consistency.
  6. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot with chives if desired.
