Classic Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ tsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp Tony Chachere’s seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp dill relish

Instructions

  1. 1. Place cold eggs in a saucepot and cover with water by one inch.
  2. 2. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil over high heat.
  3. 3. Once boiling, turn off the heat and leave the pot covered for about 12 minutes.
  4. 4. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and chill for about 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Peel the eggs and slice them in half.
  6. 6. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl, then add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, seasoning salt, and dill relish.
  7. 7. Mash the yolk mixture until well combined.
  8. 8. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  9. 9. Garnish with your favorite toppings and serve.
