Easy Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

The eggs

  • 6 large hard boiled eggs

The filling

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½-1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • ½-1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water.
  2. Bring the water to a rolling boil, then cover the pot and remove it from heat.
  3. Let the eggs sit covered for about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Remove the eggs and let them cool, then peel them.
  5. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  6. Add mayonnaise, Creole seasoning, hot sauce, sweet pickle relish, mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks.
  7. Whisk the mixture until creamy and smooth.
  8. Spoon the yolk mixture into a resealable plastic bag, cut a corner, and pipe it into the egg white halves.
