Instructions
- Cook the chicken in a slow cooker with onion and spices for about 4 hours until tender.
- Shred the cooked chicken and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, pecans, diced apple, grapes, celery, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix well.
- Toast whole-wheat pitas and fill them with the chicken salad, adding cheese and lettuce as desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
