Steak Fajitas with Traditional Marinade

The Vegetables

Instructions
- Juice the limes and crush the garlic, then mix with the lime juice.
- Slice the onion into rings and place the skirt steak in a zip-lock bag.
- Add the lime juice, oil, onions, and garlic to the bag, seal it, and marinate for 1-2 days.
- Let the meat come to room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Slice the bell peppers and toss them with a little oil.
- Preheat the grill to high and remove the steak from the marinade, patting it dry.
- Rub oil, salt, and pepper on the steak and grill to your liking.
- Let the steak rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Char the onions and peppers in a hot skillet until browned.
- Slice the steak and serve with the charred vegetables.
