Instructions
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions, reducing time by one minute for al dente.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat one tablespoon of olive oil and add shallots, cherry tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt.
- Cook the vegetables until softened and slightly charred, about 6-7 minutes.
- Add another tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant for about one minute.
- Transfer the cooked noodles to the pan, add chopped basil, and toss all ingredients together.
- Drizzle in the remaining olive oil and lemon juice, then toss again. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
