Ingredients

Eggnog Gelato

  • 2 cups Eggnog
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons Meyer’s Dark Rum (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground vanilla bean
  • ¾ cup Sugar

Cranberry Gelato

  • 2 cups Whole berry cranberry sauce (homemade)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • ½ cup Sugar

Homemade Cranberry Sauce

  • 2 cups Fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. For Eggnog Gelato, mix all ingredients in a bowl until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream or gelato maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Once finished, store the gelato in a container and freeze overnight for best results.
  4. For Cranberry Gelato, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Process the mixture in an ice cream or gelato maker as per the manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Store the finished gelato in a container and freeze overnight.
  7. To make the Homemade Cranberry Sauce, combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  8. Maintain a slow boil for 5 minutes, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until thickened.
  9. Cool the sauce for about 20 minutes, then refrigerate overnight to allow it to gel.
