Instructions
- Zest one lemon using a micro-planer or fine grater.
- Juice the lemons, straining out the seeds.
- Combine the cream, milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens slightly.
- Pour the mixture into a gelato or ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Once sufficiently frozen, transfer the gelato to a container and allow it to freeze completely.
