Ingredients

The Dough

  • cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 package Instant Yeast
  • ½ cup Water
  • ¼ cup Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk
  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • tbsp Unsalted Butter

The Filling

  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar

The Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2-3 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, yeast, and sugar in a stand mixer bowl.
  2. Heat water, milk, butter, and apple sauce to about 110 degrees.
  3. Pour the warm mixture into the flour mixture while mixing at medium speed until combined.
  4. Knead the dough by hand for 3-4 minutes until smooth and non-sticky.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Mix the filling ingredients together until well combined.
  7. Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling, and roll it up.
  8. Cut the rolled dough into 8 pieces and place them in a greased cake pan.
  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight to rise.
  10. In the morning, preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  11. Remove the rolls from the fridge, cover with a towel, and let them rise in a warm oven for 1 hour.
  12. Bake the rolls for 25-28 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over hot rolls.
