Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour

  • 2 tbsp pesto

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sourdough starter, melted coconut oil, white whole wheat flour, and sea salt.
  3. Knead in the pesto until it is well-distributed.
  4. Roll the dough to a thickness of about ¼ inch on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into desired shapes using a pizza cutter.
  6. Sprinkle the crackers with kosher salt.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes until they begin to turn brown.
  8. Turn off the oven, slightly open the door, and leave the crackers inside for another 10 minutes to become crispy.
  9. Cool the crackers on a rack and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
