Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add farro and cook, stirring until fragrant for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add water and salt, then bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until farro is tender, approximately 15-18 minutes.
  5. Drain farro through a fine-mesh sieve.
  6. Serve warm or spread farro on a baking sheet to cool to room temperature.
