Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet and set aside.
- In a dutch oven, brown the bacon and drain the fat.
- Add onions and garlic to the dutch oven and sauté.
- Add chicken broth, rutabagas, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil and simmer until rutabagas are tender.
- Add kale and sausage back to the pot and simmer until the kale is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and heat through before serving.
