Instructions
- Cook the Italian sausage with crushed red pepper flakes until browned, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, cook the bacon until crisp, then remove and set aside.
- Sauté onions and garlic in the remaining bacon fat until soft.
- Add chicken stock and bring to a boil, then add cauliflower and cook until fork tender.
- Reduce heat and stir in the cooked sausage and heavy cream, heating through.
- Add bacon and kale, cooking until the kale is bright green and softened.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve.
