Ingredients

The Cake

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 ½ - 1 ¾ cups)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • cup creamy peanut butter

The Peanut Butter Glaze

  • 1 ½ cups sifted powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and butter a Bundt pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In a stand mixer, beat butter until creamy, then add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in mashed bananas, then alternate adding the dry ingredients and sour cream.
  6. Stir in chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
  7. Pour half the batter into the pan, swirl in half of the peanut butter, then add the remaining batter and swirl in the rest of the peanut butter.
  8. Bake for 65 to 75 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a rack.
  10. For the glaze, whisk together peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  11. Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake and serve.
