Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark-coated pans) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter or oil, sour cream, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips (if using) and stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
