Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas and mix in the melted butter and oil.
- Add the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir until smooth.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients without overmixing, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top.
- Swirl the peanut butter into the batter, then top with the remaining batter and sprinkle peanut butter chips on top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
