Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 medium overripe bananas, mashed
  • cup natural peanut butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Toppings

  • to taste crushed peanuts
  • to taste sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper or nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, peanut butter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until completely combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and top with crushed peanuts and extra chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
