Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the onion until softened.
- Add garlic, cumin, chili powder, and oregano, stirring for about a minute.
- Add the drained beans, water, and salt to the skillet, bringing the mixture to a boil.
- Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid, add lime juice, and mash the beans to your desired consistency.
- For a smoother texture, use a food processor or blender.
