Clean Eating Sausage, Peppers & Onions

low sodium diced tomatoes

low sodium organic chicken broth

Instructions
- Heat 1 tsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the sausage for 2-4 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- Add the remaining oil to the skillet and sauté the onions, peppers, garlic, and mushrooms for about 10 minutes until tender.
- Return the sausage to the skillet and add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth.
- Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes until everything is heated through and the veggies reach your desired tenderness.
