Easy Sausage Peppers and Onions

Instructions
- Remove the sausage from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Rinse the peppers with cold water, pat dry, and cut them in half to remove the stem and seeds.
- Slice the peppers into strips about ½ inch wide.
- Remove the outer layer of the onion, cut it in half, and slice it into pencil-width slices.
- Place the peppers and onions in a baking dish and coat with olive oil, then add the seasoning and toss to combine.
- Place the sausage links on top of the pepper and onion mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, then stir the mixture and roll over the sausage.
- Cover with aluminum foil and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and use a slotted spoon or tongs to serve the sausage, peppers, and onions.
