Italian Sausage, Peppers and Onions with Sauce

Rao's Marinara Sauce

Instructions
- 1. For the skillet method, grill sausages and slice them into rounds, or slice them before cooking and brown in a skillet with oil for 8-10 minutes.
- 2. Remove the sausage from the pan and slice the peppers and onion while the sausage cooks.
- 3. Heat oil in the pan and sauté the vegetables with garlic until softened, about 10 minutes.
- 4. Add the sausage back to the pan along with any juices, then stir in the Marinara sauce and adjust seasoning.
- 5. For the sheet pan method, slice the sausage, peppers, and onions, then toss with oil and bake at 400°F for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- 6. After baking, transfer to a bowl, add warmed Marinara sauce, and serve.
