Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup macadamia nuts (unsalted)
  • 4 cups water

Optional add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Blend the macadamia nuts and water in a high-speed blender until very smooth and creamy.
  2. Strain the blended mixture through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or fine mesh strainer into a large bowl.
  3. Squeeze the strainer to extract as much liquid as possible and discard or save the pulp for another use.
  4. Pour the strained milk into an airtight container and store it in the fridge until ready to use.
