Cashew Milk

cashews, soaked in water for 2 or more hours

Instructions
- Soak the cashews in water for at least 2 hours, then drain and discard the soaking water.
- Add the soaked cashews to a blender with 4 cups of fresh water, and include maple syrup and salt if desired.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If necessary, strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove any remaining pulp.
- Adjust flavoring as desired, adding more maple syrup or vanilla if you want a flavored milk.
- Store the milk in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
