Key Lime Tartlets

Ingredients

  • 2–3 packages frozen mini phyllo tarts
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 4 egg yolks egg yolks
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 8–10 key limes sliced into thin coins for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks until blended.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, powdered sugar, and lime zest to the bowl and whisk until smooth.
  4. Spoon the batter into the mini tarts, filling them nearly to the top.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until the custard has set.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
  7. Top with whipped cream and garnish with key lime coins.
