Ingredients

Graham Cracker Crust

  • cups finely-ground graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter

Filling

  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • ½ cup key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • to taste whipped cream (optional)
  • to taste lime twist (optional)
  • to taste lime zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter, then press into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes and let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks until combined.
  5. Add key lime juice and lime zest, whisking until slightly thickened.
  6. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Cool the pie to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours until set.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream, lime zest, and lime twist before serving.
