Chocolate Chip Caramel Cookie Bars

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with foil, greasing it lightly.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the flour, oats, salt, and baking soda, mixing until combined.
- Press about 2/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10-11 minutes until lightly golden.
- Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the baked base and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Crumble the remaining cookie mixture over the chocolate chips and bake for an additional 12-13 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
