Blueberry Simple Syrup

Instructions
- Combine equal parts sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves, about two minutes.
- Add the blueberries and a pinch of salt, stirring to coat the blueberries.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and let the blueberries simmer for about 10 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a sterilized glass container, discarding the blueberries.
