Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add blackberries and a pinch of salt, stirring to coat the blackberries.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes until fragrant and darker in color.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass airtight container.
