Blackberry Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Water
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add blackberries and a pinch of salt, stirring to coat the blackberries.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes until fragrant and darker in color.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  6. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass airtight container.
