Ingredients

The salad

  • 1 unit Burrata cheese
  • 2 slices Tomato
  • 8 spears Asparagus
  • 4 slices Prosciutto
  • 1 handful Arugula
  • 5 leaves Fresh basil

The bread

  • 2 slices French bread

The dressing

  • 2 tablespoons Good quality extra-virgin olive oil
  • to taste Freshly ground pepper
  • to taste Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Drain the burrata cheese.
  2. Place tomato slices and asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with pepper and salt. Roast under broil for about 5 minutes until soft.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool.
  4. Toast the French bread slices in the oven or toaster oven with a drizzle of olive oil.
  5. Tear the French bread and burrata into chunks.
  6. Layer the salad with burrata, roasted tomatoes, asparagus, prosciutto, arugula, and basil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with pepper and salt.
