Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 5 medium Potatoes (Russet)

The cooking liquid

  • 1 cup Water

Seasoning

  • to taste Sea salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Optional toppings

  • to taste Butter
  • to taste Sour cream
  • to taste Chives
  • to taste Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • to taste Cooked bacon (crumbled)

Instructions

  1. Place a trivet in the Instant Pot and add water.
  2. Prick holes in each potato with a fork.
  3. Arrange the potatoes on top of the trivet.
  4. Seal the Instant Pot lid and set the knob to sealed.
  5. Select Manual, set to High pressure, and cook for 14 minutes.
  6. Allow natural pressure release for about 6 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove the lid and transfer the potatoes to a plate.
  8. Slice the potatoes open, fluff the insides, and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Add any desired toppings.
