Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½-¾ cup Andes mint chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. 3. Add the eggs to the mixture and beat well.
  4. 4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the egg mixture, mixing until well blended.
  5. 5. Stir in the Andes mint chips.
  6. 6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  7. 7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the brownies start to pull away from the sides of the pan.
