Versatile Cauliflower Patties

Ingredients

  • ½ head cauliflower
  • 1 unit onion
  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 unit egg
  • to taste unit salt
  • to taste unit pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and grate the cauliflower using a coarse grater.
  2. Peel and grate the onion.
  3. Whip the egg, then mix in the flour, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine the egg mixture with the grated cauliflower and mix well, then let it stand for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan, take ¼ cup of the cauliflower mixture, and form a patty.
  6. Cook each patty for 4 to 5 minutes on each side over low heat until golden brown.
  7. Repeat the process until all the mixture is used.
  8. Serve the patties hot or warm, optionally with sour cream.
