Spinach Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

The pasta

  • 12 oz penne pasta

The sauce

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • to taste freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 cups baby spinach

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the penne pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. 2. In a skillet, sauté butter and minced garlic over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. 3. Lower the heat and add whole milk and cream cheese, whisking until melted.
  4. 4. Stir in grated Parmesan and let the sauce simmer until thickened, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Add fresh spinach to the sauce and stir until wilted.
  6. 6. Combine the cooked pasta with the spinach Alfredo sauce and serve immediately.
