Instructions
- Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for about one minute.
- Add the flour to the skillet and whisk together with the butter, cooking for about two minutes.
- Whisk in the milk and continue to cook until the sauce thickens.
- Add the Parmesan to the sauce and whisk until melted.
- Season the sauce with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the chopped spinach until evenly combined and adjust seasoning if necessary.
