Fresh Creamed Spinach

Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add onion, salt, pepper, and optional cayenne; cook until the onion is soft.
- Add spinach in handfuls, stirring until wilted.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in cream cheese and cook until melted and creamy.
- Add Parmesan and stir to combine, then season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
- Serve warm.
