Super Easy Alfredo Sauce

heavy whipping cream

parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

The pasta
Instructions
- 1. Boil the pasta according to package directions.
- 2. Melt the butter and 2/3 of the cream in a large sauté pan over medium heat, stirring until thickened.
- 3. Turn off the heat once the cream and butter start to thicken.
- 4. Drain the pasta and add it to the cream and butter mixture.
- 5. Turn the heat back on to medium-low, add the remaining cream and all of the parmesan cheese.
- 6. Toss the pasta to coat until the sauce thickens slightly, then season with salt and pepper.
- 7. Serve in bowls, garnished with extra parmesan cheese and sautéed vegetables if desired.
