Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 500°F and adjust the oven rack to the highest position.
- 2. Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water and let it sit until foamy for about 5 minutes.
- 3. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of flour with the salt.
- 4. Combine the foamy yeast mixture with the flour and stir until smooth, then add another ½ cup of flour.
- 5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, adding more flour if necessary.
- 6. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes, then divide it into two equal portions and shape into balls.
- 7. Roll each dough ball into a thin circle, about 12 inches in diameter.
- 8. Prepare a pizza pan with non-stick spray or cornmeal and transfer the rolled dough onto it.
- 9. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the crust and bake for 5 minutes.
- 10. Add desired toppings and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
