Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp dry active yeast
  • 1 ¼ cup warm water (divided)
  • 2-3 Tbsp sugar (divided)
  • 3 cups gluten-free flour blend
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine yeast and ¾ cup warm water, letting it set for 5 minutes to activate.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix gluten-free flour blend, salt, baking powder, and remaining sugar.
  4. Make a well in the dry mixture and add the yeast mixture, olive oil, and additional warm water, then stir until combined.
  5. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet or pizza stone, flattening it to less than ¼ inch thickness.
  6. Pre-bake the crust for 20-25 minutes until it begins to look dry.
  7. Remove from the oven, add sauce, cheese, and desired toppings, then bake for an additional 15-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cut immediately and serve.
