Instructions
- 1. Combine the crust ingredients in a bowl and blend until crumbly.
- 2. Add the egg and gradually mix in water until a dough forms, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 3. Prepare the filling by mixing sliced apples with lemon juice, then combine with sugar and spices.
- 4. For the crumble, mix flour, sugar, and spices, then blend in butter until crumbly.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a pie dish.
- 6. Roll out the dough and fit it into the pie dish, then fill with the apple mixture.
- 7. Top with the crumble mixture, covering the apples completely.
- 8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly, then cool before serving.
