Instructions
- Combine the berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
- Stir gently and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium and maintain a soft boil, stirring frequently for about 20 minutes.
- To check the thickness, use a frozen spoon or ramekin to test if the jam sets.
- If too runny, continue cooking and testing in 5-minute increments until desired thickness is achieved.
- Once cooled, spread the jam on toast or transfer to a glass jar for storage in the refrigerator.
