  • 1 lb. fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Crush the fresh strawberries and set aside.
  2. Heat a saucepan and add the strawberries and sugar, stirring over medium heat until the strawberries become a watery jam-like consistency.
  3. Lower the heat to simmer, add lemon juice, and reduce the liquid until the jam reaches the desired consistency.
  4. Turn off the heat, let cool, and transfer the jam into an airtight jar or container.
