Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then add eggs, sour cream, and extracts, mixing until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until the dough is thick and creamy, then chill for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Scoop the dough onto the sheets, spacing them apart, and bake for 13-14 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Frost the cooled cookies with buttercream and add sprinkles as desired.
