Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and cook ground beef and Italian sausage with salt and pepper until browned.
- Add chopped onion and cook until tender, then add garlic and cook briefly.
- Stir in marinara and tomato sauce, simmer until thickened.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, cream cheese, parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until combined.
- Toss cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce.
- Layer half of the butter in the dish, add half the spaghetti, then spread the cheese mixture on top.
- Add the remaining spaghetti, top with the rest of the butter and sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15-20 minutes until bubbly and cheese is browned.
- Sprinkle with parsley, let stand for a few minutes, then serve.
