Classic Tuna Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chunk light tuna in water
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned tuna well.
  2. Finely dice the celery, chop the walnuts, and slice the green onions.
  3. Combine the tuna, celery, walnuts, green onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Serve as a sandwich, salad over a bed of greens, or with crackers and vegetables for dipping.
  6. Refrigerate for up to four days.
