Baked BBQ Chicken Drumsticks

The sauce
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken drumsticks.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning generously all over the chicken.
- If possible, refrigerate the seasoned drumsticks for 30-60 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Place the chicken drumsticks on the wire rack, leaving space between them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F, brush the drumsticks with barbecue sauce, and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes.
- Turn the chicken legs over, brush with BBQ sauce again, and bake for another 7-10 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
