Ingredients

The chicken

  • 3 lbs Chicken drumsticks

The seasoning

  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

The sauce

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Blot the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. 2. Brush the chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. For oven method, preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and bake the chicken for 25 minutes.
  4. 4. Brush BBQ sauce on both sides of the chicken and bake for an additional 10-20 minutes until cooked through.
  5. 5. For grill method, preheat the grill to 450°F (232°C) and cook the chicken for 10 minutes on each side.
  6. 6. Move the chicken to indirect heat, brush with BBQ sauce, and cook for an additional 5 minutes on each side.
  7. 7. Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
